Domestic EPC assessments typically take around 30 minutes, depending on the size and complexity of the property.

It isn’t necessary for you to be present. However, we do require access to the property, the loft (if applicable) and to the property’s gas and electric meters to complete the assessment accurately.

An Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is required to provide an official rating of your property’s energy efficiency, from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient). It helps homeowners reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and is a legal requirement when selling or renting a property.

During the assessment, a qualified assessor evaluates key elements such as property size, construction type, insulation, heating, and lighting. This data is entered into accredited software to produce the EPC, which is then lodged on the UK Government register and emailed directly to the client.
